At connection very potent full body chills and tingling – the radiance of the sun and healing potential – brought tears to my eyes.
Shifting sands – breezes over dunes creating new forms all the time, into the slow flow and consistency of the sands in an hourglass. Trusting time and the natural flow of changes; a steadiness, but an awareness that it *is* time to change. Time to move forward. Time to allow.
Relax and stop trying. Relax into the breath and let it be. All is okay, and you’re exactly where you need to be in this moment. Without the trying and the expectation that it should be different, there is no distress. Now is perfect.
Into a top down body scan I was first drawn to an ache at the left throat. As I held Reiki here I felt it connect into the left eye, as well as the right temple and cheek bone, creating a triangle. I went for an essential oil and was drawn toward Douglas Fir – it was inhaled deeply, then applied to each point of the triangle. The pulling connections and aching quickly disbursed.
Moving further down there was an ache in the mid-back, focused along both sides of the spine. With attention this grew into a tightening all around the mid-ribs – more so with pressure around the back, but also into at a fainter level across the front. I held my hands with Reiki and a light squeeze on both sides of the ribs. This naturally pulled into an upright posture with the energy emphasizing a straight neck and upright head, bringing with it the feeling to inspire confidence. “Hold your head up” – less of a critique or unwelcome guidance, and more of an inherent knowledge of how strongly posture here affects our moods and can subconsciously heal emotional hurts and holdings. It really opened the energy flow down from the Crown into the Heart, then further released into a deep relaxation in the hips and upper legs.
This tie-in let the Crown energies flow down and connect in through the whole system, and blossomed into a full vibration filling the aura -and the space beyond- with a calming peace.
Sitting with this smooth vibration an awareness of deep lower-organ release built and then gently diffused, like a weightless mist into outer space. A few more waves came through in the same fashion, all around the pelvis, bladder, the large and small intestines. The energies diffusing up toward the diaphragm before departing, and once again bringing awareness to the mid-rib/mid-back region.
I brought my hands back to the sides, now about an inch lower than before. Bringing a dialog into the body, I received guidance for a card draw here. From Sandra Anne Taylor’s “Energy Oracle Cards” deck, specific to energies at the Solar Plexus, we received: #31 DOOR TO VALUE, inverted (image and full description below). While the official write up emphasizes finance or career, internally, for today’s session, this felt to highlight self-value. Given that, I was most drawn to the last two lines emphasizing the value of time, tranquility and love. Furthermore I sensed a tie-back into the earlier postural guidance - this felt to beckon each of us toward bodily acceptance and trust. Honor and love each part of you – for they are working so hard every millisecond to keep you alive and safe. Whenever possible hold a part of your body and give gratitude, with a genuine “I love you. I value you. I thank you.”
(In grabbing the cards I was also drawn to a new essential oil, Sweet Orange, which I applied on the palms and fingers before shuffling.)
I held my anointed hands in Reiki wisdom back at the sides, to bring in these self-values and a widening awareness of what is valuable in general. I imagined a bright yellow sunlight radiating from the Solar Plexus and transforming into a slow-motion supernova, sharing light out into the ribs and sides, and beyond the body.
More waves of pressure and release flowed through the lower organs, lower body, and lower chakras, so I expanded the vision of light 3-dimensionally, now flowing in a rainbow of colors, and encompassing both the lower and upper regions surrounding the Solar Plexus, enlivening the full central channel.
This created a new circuit of flow down the outer back body, and up the outer front body, which felt like riding waves in the ocean.
I closed with toning to hold balancing frequencies at each of the chakras then deliberately swept against this circuit flow, like a net to catch and transmute any newly surfaced or released stagnancies and distortions. I was embraced with a full-body tingle of completion which mimicked the potent connection at the start of the session.
Embrace and behold this new energy of awareness, grace and clarity that was already within you. Perhaps envision your Solar Plexus like the glowing sun, radiating and shining through you, in your full potential of universal healing. Know it is so; it is honoring you.

This card reversed signifies a partial - or perhaps even potentially complete - closing of the door. The hoped-for new opportunity where money or career is concerned may be delayed or possibly even derailed.
Don’t be disheartened, however. This card reversed reminds you not to put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify your interests and your efforts, and let your intuition guide you to the next open doorway. In the meantime, open your heart and your mind to the other sources of value in your life. Money is a commodity, but so are time, tranquility, and love. Choose to open the doors of these wonderful experiences yourself, and find real value there.
