The impressions I received during setup were around illusion & confusion. Things may be catching our eye and bringing up sudden emotions without any time to ask questions or check the source. (Is it from Source?) We’re moving so fast right now it’s easy to make assumptions. Our brain does this brilliant, instant processing where it may see things that aren’t there – like when we see a face or animal in an inanimate object. This human trait exists to protect us and help us multitask, but can be overwhelming and misleading if we don’t have breaks – if we never slow down and stop, and allow deeper processing.
Earth powers were also calling for attention in the altar, to assist today. I was reminded of a recent revelation about the seeds we plant for the Winter Solstice – a time for rest and reflection: A reminder that so much is happening when we’re still. We’re not used to tuning in, in that way, but great changes occur on the inside, when the outside has equilibrium and is given stillness.
Moving into the session and sweeping up the chakras brought up images of fast juggling – or an energetic cup game (when a ball/shell/etc is beneath one cup and someone quickly cycles and switches a trio of cups hoping the observer will lose track of the hidden item). It felt like an overabundance of outside energies affecting the chakral vortexes causing them to work overtime to keep balance. Yet, they seemed to be doing so, infused with enough innate resilience to manage this heightened flow. With time the Reiki support was integrated and allowed this processing to evolve into a peaceful sway of infinity symbol crossover energy balancing, and a more natural state for the chakral vortexes.
There was a weakness that came through at the left elbow throughout most of the session.
I applied cypress essential oil on the inner forearms noting the vulnerability of this space, as well as its representation for open receptivity. An extension of receiving with the hands, when we open our arms outward we show we are more exposed and fully available to receive. Then, when the hands come to the Heart, this area and the cypress oil nourish the lungs.
Moving into a deep stillness of mind an angelic light presence came from the front right. It held the message that holding this space was enough. It shone light on hundreds of beings to the left who were present in support: some I called in for assistance, but many others I didn’t directly recognize. All the guides and higher beings in support of those connected to this space, using it as a vessel to ask for help. And they further shared the message that all participants have this power as well – to ask for help, support, and assistance from their divine team. To invite in this help any time it’s needed, for the highest good. So I got to hold the space and receive, and share, while I knew they too were holding space for you, sending light and guidance.
Today’s closing card draw brought a returning message, from Sandra Anne Taylor’s “Energy Oracle Cards” deck, we once again received #43 MAN HOLDING A COIN, reversed. This came up two weeks ago in the same position, and I see so much of the holiday season and familial relations in the reading, that it makes sense it could still be a potent message for us to hear. Yet, giving the reappearance I requested a deeper reading with an additional card. That, amazingly, was last weeks card #36 SECOND CHAKRA, ARCHANGEL ARIEL, reversed. Together these are definitely sharing that someone missed this message in the past, or perhaps it rang true but didn’t solicit any action. So take a look at the images and descriptions, both included below, and maybe dig a little deeper, especially if you’ve been asking for guidance and feeling blocked lately.
I began with a sage and fire clearing, to open the space for the Reiki energies, and I closed with a palo santo clearing along with green mandarin essential oil on the Throat and Heart, to allow anything no longer needed -anything released in this session- to move on and transmute.

Reversed
When this card is reversed, you may find that your creativity is being blocked. If this is the case, you might need to take more risks and open up to new and different ideas.
Go inward to find the feelings that may be causing this blockage. Call upon Ariel to help you release old fears and self-limitations. Affirm that you are open to Spirit’s love and creative inspiration.
This card reversed can also signal problems with intimacy of all kinds, and issues of sexual intimacy in particular. Visualize Ariel spinning a beautiful light in your second chakra, calming and healing the energy there. Know that real closeness can be both safe and comfortable for you, and that you deserve a depth of sharing in your relationships.
AFFIRMATION: My second chakra is open to its perfect, healthy state. I am creative and self-nurturing, more and more comfortable with the gentle waves of intimacy coming my way.
