The flow of Reiki today for all guests brought messages from Source for the collective consciousness, while it helped to relax and clear us toward our highest good.
We began with awareness: A slow immersion. In honoring the seasons, this is a time for slow change… baby steps. Major transitions are likely to be physically jolting and more difficult to cope with.
Plans may find hiccups due to a recent foundational change taking effect that you haven’t yet fully recognized or gotten used to. In other words, expectations may be turned on-end again and again the coming weeks. (This can be a great thing… expanding the mind and perceived boundaries.)
While I continued to hold and observe the Reiki flow I was drawn to a card draw, both to assist in the session and to offer guidance for the coming weeks. From Sandra Anne Taylor’s “Energy Oracle Cards” deck we received #39 FIFTH CHAKRA, ARCHANGEL GABRIEL, inverted (card image and full description below).
Feeling into the energies of this card draw, the message: “Sometimes people just have to say ‘no’. Even to themselves; deep inside. Taking that stand changes things.” Then, too, we must be careful not to be at war with ourselves. When the inside ‘no’ leads to more subtle outer actions that shift remains, while-as if the inside shifts and the outside remains unchanged, cracks lead to shattering. (Still progress, for all change is teaching, but possibly a rockier experience and process.)
For the remainder of the session I asked for Archangel Gabriel’s assistance for the highest good in all things, as they know best. I shared Reiki for the whole aura, while also envisioning healthy swirling turquoise blue light at the Throat Chakra. Impressions of spirals and tubes came forth. I felt called to invite participants to further invite Archangel Gabriel in their own way, into their space and struggles, for assistance in any and all areas. In closing a great clearing sweep completed the release of all we were ready to shed, to allow the wonder of Reiki to continue its benefits in the coming days. Rest well.

This card reversed often indicates significant blocks in the throat center. Something in your history may have caused you to shut down, but it’s important now to break through that unhealthy pattern. Or you may currently be in a situation where the free sharing of your ideas, opinions, or feelings is being thwarted. In addition to the fear of self-expression, this card reversed could indicate physical throat problems – as all the chakra cards reversed may signal difficulties in that area of the body. The physical trouble may be connected to the blocked energy in that chakra, so it's all the more important to work on clearing the energy in the center involved. To clear the throat chakra, call upon Gabriel and meditate on his power blasting through any blocks. See your throat center spinning in a beautiful blue light. Muster up the courage to speak your truth to yourself and to those around you. It’s time to let go of any old fear of confrontation – and stand up for yourself from now on.
