This post is for my 06/18/21 Group Distance Reiki Session. If you are reading this at any time please know the energy and message, as it resonates, is perfect for you.
I created a more traditional crystal grid for today's session altar, bringing in some extended awareness and intention around the Summer Solstice. Asking for some longer-term guidance and Universal assistance.
Before starting I also did a small Solstice Ceremony with a card draw for today's recipients, specific to the Solstice. I asked for this card to provide guidance on the changing seasons and the energies we'll be experiencing for the next 3-6 months. For this I also used the grounding blend of doTERRA's Balance essential oil, to balance us with this strong solar event.
The card that came up for Solstice guidance was #12 THE TEMPLE PATH.

As the session progressed this card message merged together nicely with the themes and feelings of the day, like a greater lens magnifying the current sensations and showing how they fit into the bigger collective picture.
What kept coming up (though it took a while to 'click' in my interpretation) was all about balance with action. The 2nd card draw, also from Sandra Anne Taylor's "Energy Oracle Cards" deck, done much later in the session, was itself, #17 ACTION! (full description below) And, like #12 THE TEMPLE PATH is a largely positive encouragement, keeping us on our current path, while nudging movement and momentum in this direction even further. Yet - I emphasized *balance* with action, because there was more here...
What I felt within these energies and many times throughout our session is that while many things are pointing to ourselves being open and moving forward right now (the season, daylight, community re-opening), collectively there is a sense of resistance, fear, and confusion. Sitting with loving attentiveness here, the message is "Allow yourself to try both". The action of moving forward and engaging, and then sitting, resting and reflecting in solitude when needed. Trust you can come back to the inward silent stillness and openness that separation from may be bringing fear.
Early on today (before everything overlapped and 'clicked') I sent a prayer embracing all the elements, which in itself was a form of balancing. I felt a strong pull toward honoring the plants and animals, specific to all they provide for us in nourishment and food. It was a practice of gratitude and appreciation.
This led into the message "Spiritual practice is not isolated". The energy here was about embracing our spirituality in everything, all day long! Yes, our alone and dedicated time with Spirit is beautiful and to be treasured, but you really feel (& live) this gratitude and connection when you are embracing it during everyday things: when you notice a breath in the middle of 'it all', when you are present with gratitude and kindness while working, speaking, doing. Connect when washing dishes, buying groceries, folding the laundry. This all circled back to the balance of action - Practicing Spirit in Action - so you are Being & Doing all at once!
Back in the session, sitting in the Sun, there was a deep pull from my core downward. Almost like falling. It was a bit disorienting, but once noticed it felt like really connecting our essence into the earth. Another form of balancing with these incredible solar energies.
Throughout the whole session I kept feeling a very powerful spiraling momentum. It was more outside the physical than in tune with the specific chakra vortexes. Perhaps a wider sense of their energies in action, in the aura. (Ha! Action... didn't see this 'til my proofread.) This encouraged me to use the Reiki Power symbol many times today.
I pulled the ACTION card and spent more time in the Sun. I was noticing it's path and honoring it's power when I felt a strong sense of 'Exposure' that is overwhelming us right now: feeling exposed, feeling vulnerable stepping into the light. I focused Reiki on finding again a sense of balance here, to help bring us peace while still showing our light to others.
The message "Sharing ourselves right now is important!" came through and started to intertwine the vibe all together, leading to my summary and theme above. This message was so full of love and hope and confidence... it shone with community support and Earth Love, and all the interconnectedness we've been missing and longing for. It held space for the isolation and confusion of the conflicting emotion around engaging again.
I ended by holding this energy and the greater theme, while working with Reiki through the grid. More spirals, coils and DNA-shapes came into play, with the grid holding and sending these energies for you over the coming week.
