This post is for my 09/09/22 Group Distance Reiki Session. If you are reading this at any time please know the energy and message, as it resonates, is perfect for you.
Was there an intention you set today – or a question or specific request for this session? If not what is coming forward now? In setup I saw deep orange swirling energy and was inspired to do a triple card draw which will tie back to this… It feels important for today’s integration… so take a moment to consider where you’re looking for guidance.
As I started to connect I heard:
Recharge.
Charge & recharge.
Recharge : Charge : Recharge
(cyclical; but sometimes a double recharge is needed.)
Tuning in to fully flow I began with a sound focus on grounding. Some anxiety here… it took a while to settle in. Then grounding came with this the message: Self-love is sharing love. Take care of yourself first.
Drawn to the Heart, I spent quite a time here, and it was like lying back at a park, watching leaves blow on branches, twinkling bright green among bright bursts of clear skies: Peace, Expanse, Freedom.
I invited in the swirling orange essence from earlier, feeling there may be a Heart-connection, and then it felt like watching black and white, scratchy and staticky 50’s and 60’s UFO videos; a black hole; then with the turning of a page all went black.
Movement of a cable car.
Teeth hurting.
REM sensations in the left eye.
Now seeing an eyeball.
The fear: What if it destroys me?
The eyeball morphs into different geometric shapes.. open honeycomb, but dark in the center comb.
Before closing I moved into the triple card draw, with the three cards representing past, present and future. All from Sandra Anne Taylor’s “Energy Oracle Cards” deck. Bring your intention, question or request to mind. For most, looking at the pictures, numbers and words will provide guidance, for others reading the full descriptions (included with individual images below) will be desired.
Past: #2 JOURNEY: Movement, Relocation, Travel – inverted – patchouli essential oil;
Present: #12 THE TEMPLE PATH: Spiritual Purpose and Support – upright – black spruce essential oil;
Future: #26 HOSTILITIES: Defenses Up, Aggressive Energy - inverted – green mandarin essential oil – and this one came with imagery of the orange swirling energies again.
At a glance for me this speaks to experiencing a hitch to moving forward in the recent past, where currently one is opening up to their spiritual side – finally seeing themselves whole and asking for help. That in the near future they will be finding their need to defend themselves against threats (real or perceived) is muted… softened and graced by the present of Spirit they’ve found, allowing their creativity and purpose to flourish, and seeing compassion in all things/beings/events.
A palo santo closing, with a brush of chakra clearing and Reiki aura infusion, to disburse and integrate over time. A possible mantra for these next two weeks (to go with the card affirmations, if you use them): I am fully healed. My body is in perfect health. All things I touch and consume are the medicine of light and love.

You may desire to move or just get away for a while, but the reverse of this card could indicate a delay – or even a cancellation. The winding path you are on leads to a blessed temple and a lovely garden, symbolizing the spiritual destiny your soul has had in mind for this lifetime. This card upright is here to tell you that what you’re going through now is all part of your soul's process. You are on your karmic path and heading in the right direction, and the choices you make now are important for your personal growth and life lessons.
The lights around the temple represent the spirit world -your family members and friends, angels and guides- all the loving spirit helpers who long to assist you. Call upon them and be open to their wisdom and inspiration.
This is a wonderful, life expanding time, so keep in mind your personal priorities as well as your spiritual connection. Following your higher intentions will help you move your life forward in dramatic ways, and connecting with spirit –and your higher self– will have a wonderful influence on all that you experience.
AFFIRMATION: I open my heart to my spiritual truth and a deeper connection with spirit. Guidance and inspiration come freely and easily to me.
#26 HOSTILITIES
Defenses Up, Aggressive Energy
Reversed
This card reversed marks the end of hostilities for you. There’s a shift in the energies around you and even about you, and the Universe is supporting your own internal shift as well. Whether the aggressive action has ended due to external factors or your own intervention, this card bodes well for more peace and harmony.
Be aware, however, that there may still be some action you have to take - and it may seem on the surface that things are slow in getting better. This card encourages you, letting you know that the inner vibrations are changing, and the situation will be resolved.
AFFIRMATION: I am receiving the peaceful, harmonious treatment I deserve in my life. I set boundaries, make reasonable requests, and make my expectations clear.
